Tourist Stream
If you are a tourist visiting Australia to travel, or if you are visiting family and friends who live in Australia, this is the visa that will allow you. The stay may vary from 3 to 6 to 12 months.
This visa does come in handy for the people who already have a visa in their name but is close to expiry. But the candidate must be living outside of Australia during application. This visa can be applied both in and outside Australia depending on their current visa conditions.
Sponsored Family Stream
If any of your family lives in Australia and you would want to visit them, this stream of Visa enables the visit. One can stay up to 12 months with this visa in Australia. The visa must be sponsored by a family member who is an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia. The sponsor might have to pay a security bond during the application.
Business visitor stream
If you are a professional with business interests in Australia, this visa stream is the best pick for you. You will be allowed to visit Australia more than once as long as the Visa is valid. The visa expires after 3 months and therefore you might have to make the most of the time here. The visits can only be business related, you will not be allowed to work or sell any goods and services.
Frequent Traveller Stream
A stream of visa that is reserved for the citizens of People’s Republic of China. The citizens of China through this visa can visit Australia to attend to business requirements and personal needs. The visa can be valid for up to 10 years giving the holders a wide time frame. One must hold citizenship of China, passport and biometrics approved by the People’s Republic of China while applying.
This visa stream is preferred for the citizens of the European Union. The candidate must be holding a European Union passport while applying. One can visit Australia any number of times while holding this visa which will be valid for up to 3 months.
This visa is similar to the subclass 651, but for candidates who are not citizens of the European Union. The visa is viable for 12 months and the candidate can stay in Australia for up to 3 months on each visit.
